Looks a lot like our North Pacific coast. Very cold and dangerous so....No thanks.

I had 2 or 3 generations of these guys using my feeders for years. At times there would be about a dozen jays trying to get their share of the suet. They would clean it out in less than a day. Flickers were the only birds they moved out for. Very entertaining.

I like dark humor. My housemate forgets that they have one of those devices and I think it funny.

They've been crawling all over Oregon. The I-5 corridor is mighty handy for hitting our agricultural areas and major cities. And NO we don't feel safe.

I guess it insisted on that flag pole being where it is, despite being told the wash from the helicopter would affect the flag.

That's such a stark difference. Wish things weren't like they are here. ICE has been hitting our area over the last few weeks and removed a USCG helicopter from Newport in prep for building a detention facility. The town/county and State are having none of it.

I had never considered orchids growing wild in that part of the world. Thank you for teaching me something today. I lived in Panama for a few years and saw plenty there. These are beautiful.

We have similar problems here in Eugene. There are several official camps but not nearly enough. It makes me ill to see when "campers" are bull dozed and what little they have is destroyed. So many empty building that could be used to help.

I'm afraid I'd have to turn it into a voodoo doll.
