I get up and I put on pants. Guy who wrote that book about curling.
Cannot even express how annoyed I’m that I opted in for tickets and now have a conflict because why the hell would we have MLS games on Monday night. I “might” be able make it to the stadium for halftime.

My god. The sports writing is so beautiful, I want to throw my book in the trash.

Now when I go home, I can pick up an SRO seat for 15 bucks with fees and get a $5 discount on a beer.

The Jacobs Field sellout streak went from June 12, 1995, to April 4, 2001. I graduated from college in spring of '96 and moved to Minnesota in 2008. I had no idea that selling 40K seats a game in March was unusual.

The anxiety must have been extremely high for that last week. The Conigliaro story is devastating. My mind just got blown by Wikipedia. Cleveland's home attendance average in '67 was only 8100 people, so like 10% of Municipal Stadium. The Cards led everyone at 25K. I'd have assumed higher overall.

2012 was the last time the Guards didn't win at least 76 games. Although, in 2021 they were no hit three different times so that was demoralizing.

You mean the Myles Straw era didn't cut it for you, Bob?

There were no other sporting events last night. I just happened to angrily walk 2.5 miles south down Snelling in the dark for no reason at all.

Haha! Yes, that was very true tonight!

I'm sorry, David. What don't you understand that we can explain?

Origin of the phrase, "get your ducks in a row."

Thank you! That is a wildly narrow list of people who are alive!

Hey hey hey! Thank you! Sadly, if that happened, I didn't hear about it!

I'm liking the synergy of this.

You don't have to like this or anything, but this was an old tweet that I liked that I wasn't ready to let go of.
