2025-11-06: PIA Boeing 777-300 (AP-BMS,*2009) suffered an in-flight cracking of its FO windshield during cruise at 34000 ft. #AP859 from Lahore to Jeddah diverted to Karachi. Apparently the acft was dispatched despite maintenance flagged the window as damaged.

❗️UPS is grounding its MD-11(F) fleet with immediate effect at the recommendation of the aircraft manufacturer.

There are currently 26 MD-11s in the UPS fleet of 294 total aircraft. www.flightradar24.com/data/airline...
Out of an abundance of caution and in the interest of safety, we have made the decision to temporarily ground our MD-11 fleet. MD-11s are approximately 9% of the UPS Airlines fleet. The grounding is effective immediately. We made this decision proactively at the recommendation of the aircraft manufacturer. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our employees and the communities we serve. Last month, one day, I embarked on an ambitious trip to fly on an Eastern Airways BAE Jetstream 41, on what is one of the most affordable ways to do so, by flying from Wick John O'Groats Airport down to Aberdeen Airport.

Backtracking down the runway 25, Ryanair B738 EI-ENP at NCL, as a Loganair E145 and TUI B738 (blocking D1 entrance to runway 25) both received a slot delay, which was quickly cancelled. So the Ryanair crew wasted no time in skipping the queue to get on their way to Alicante. 😁✈️
