Dogs, horses, and chronic illness. I read a lot and listen to university lectures for fun, so I'm not a big hit at parties.
Ultimately they just end up mad because they're shallow & objectifying assholes, and the only women who put up with shallow & objectifying assholes are themselves shallow & objectifying assholes. They believe this is the height of unfairness.

You should just never listen to straight men tell you what an attractive man looks like. They don't know, and they also refuse to accept that women are extremely varied in their preferences.

Not straight, but I'm always fascinated by how my friends will tell me men are SUPER HOT and they're the most average man you've ever seen in your life. They'll mess their whole life up for a guy you could find 5 of at Wal-Mart. Utterly fascinating.
