Good food isn’t complicated. Fresh pesto on salmon, pistachios, salt, pepper, lemon slices, olive oil, and baby potatoes on the side.

When your Italian friend tells you to try a recipe, you don't argue. You just try the recipe. End of story.

Although the recipe is called "Pizza Barese" it's technically more like Focaccia; a thick, spongy, regional specialty from Puglia in Southern Italy.

Normally, we are the plain dough type here at our home, maybe some seeds if we're feeling really wild! 😉 I think that one of the biggest perks about owning a Thermomix is that it makes trying new things so much more accessible!

​Finally found some time to test this Sunrise Flour Mill Heritage Bread Flour!
​I always do a small test loaf with new flours because it lets me see exactly how the grain handles water.

My first Panettone... didn’t quite pan out 😅. Made Lieveto Madre that seemed very active. Great gluten in the first dough, but none in the second... even after 50 mins mixing! Ended up baking it like a cake 🤷‍♀️. Any #Panettone bakers on here that can help me pinpoint what went wrong?

The infamously fussy Canelé! 🤯 They aren't perfect because I'm using a regular non-stick tin, not the required, heat-conducting copper molds (the secret to that deep, crunchy crust). But who cares? One bite, and I'm instantly bringing Paris to my home 🇫🇷.

If you don't like the gooey texture of pecan pie, I don't blame you, I don't either! I found a recipe on the Cookidoo app that swaps corn syrup for brown sugar and heavy cream. The result? A perfectly set, richer, almost fudge-like filling that I absolutely love. It's truly a superior texture!
