These dwarf Red Sea Lionfish have an amazing pattern on their head and also the eyes. I used to find these in sea grass and algae areas where they lie in wait to ambush small prey. Very hard to spot and can give a nasty sting if you inadvertently touch it.

Years ago, I met very good friends by bonding over Whose Line & Tony’s comedy. And we’re still friends today!
I always wanted to say thank you to him. He was very open about his struggles & mental health & I respected him so much! Love to his family & friends. This is such sad news. 💜💖

I’ve read (listened to) the most famous Wilkie Collins books (The Woman In White and the Moonstone) and loved them both. I think I’ll get further into Victorian sensation novels for a bit. The next up is Lady Audley’s Secret.
