In August, I will begin as an assistant professor at @georgetown-sfs.bsky.social , continuing my research and teaching on environmental politics, land and resource governance, and conservation, with a focus on Latin America.

We argue that more fundamental policy reforms, stronger #environmental law #enforcement, increased capacity for land users in fire management, and support for Indigenous forest management are urgently needed to prevent the complete loss of globally important ecosystems in the coming decades.
