Expect me to be a bit more withdrawn for the foreseeable future - I'm still going to try and engage with people socially when I can, but I have been dealing with some resurfacing trauma and it is healthier for me to not put myself into Too many things that can drain me. Love y'all.

Playing over 1000 hours of FFXI without having really even touched the first expansion save for potentially my job (SMN) feels like an ideal way to be drawn into the world. I'm so curious about what the deal is with the crags and delkfutt's tower. Amazing game

Something I have really enjoyed about HorizonXI vs retail is that while trusts are certainly convenient... it really defeats the point of the game, which is co-operating with others to survive in a brutal environment. Nothing beats the kindness of people looking out for each other.

Some days like this I get so inside my own head. I don't know if it's the nightmares or what - but I become so convinced that I lack worth, or that anybody actually cares about me.

On a lighter note, hit rank 4 in HorizonXI last night! Was terrified we'd have to make the climb up delkfutt a second time as the wiki claimed the NM we needed to kill could be 28-36, but mobDB said otherwise - thanks to the lovely dragoon that helped us kill it! If you're out there I love you.

Part of the appeal of XI for me is just how much you can do when you actually spend time making macros make sense. My summoner macros automatically take me to an avatar-specific set of macros whenever I summon one - then when one uses an attack specifically it will automatically release (1/2)

Today was a busy day in XI. Linkshell did an event to get four people the carbuncle mitts which is huge for me leveling summoner. Super excited as my WHM is now 33 meaning it is almost leveled as a subjob.
All I need is to get a pilgrim wand so I can increase my MP recovery and then I'm gold

Been playing a lot more FFXI on Horizon and god I love this game. I'm so glad that my initial thoughts upon trying it over a decade ago were proven wrong. It's such an amazing game.
