I have sacrificed so much of my sanity, stressed myself out with self-imposed deadlines, and ran myself into the ground the past couple years.

I don’t think I can do it anymore. I didn’t want to accept that I can’t do it all, but now I know I can’t. 🥲 I’m just going to promote backlist and rest.

I think part of me in the beginning was just starry eyed at the thought of being an author.

Normally I am very realistic with my expectations that I put on myself. I think I overestimated how much time I could commit.

Of course I would typo in this. 🙄

There just isn’t enough time in the day. Yes I could work on books after work. I could pour myself into organic marketing every weekend and lose sleep. I’ve done it.

But I’m tired. And losing family time and sanity over my selfish dream isn’t worth the trade off.

It feels impossible to work a full time job that supports my family while also putting out 3+ books per year, while also trying to fund marketing for them.

Because without marketing no one will ever see them.

And even when things go viral, you can’t bank on that to consistently sell books.

This book is about the duality of the beauty and pain that lies in Appalachian living. It discusses hard truths, generational curses, religious trauma, and more.

To this day it is the book I am most proud of. I poured so much of myself into it. (2/2)

Omg!!! Yesss. Twins. 👯‍♀️ I enjoyed the webtoon (for the most part) small gripes but otherwise it was cutesy.

I hated the drama except Seojun too 🤣 ngl I’ll prolly still watch s2 if they do it tho. And I am crossing my fingers for S2 of the anime. Let me know if you like it!
