Authors - do you ever read your work a year or so after you publish it to have fresh eyes on it again? If so how frequently do you pick them back up?
Considering a re-read of mine bc even tho I wrote it, the details are fuzzy. I want to look at it more closely to see where I can improve.

I was listening to a podcast the other day and this line resonated with me so much.
“You don’t have to attend every argument you’re invited to.”
It’s something that stuck with me and as someone who tends to have anger issues, it’s been surprisingly effective at shifting my mindset.

Why is there more pressure on putting out my second poetry collection? 😅
The first one was a hit locally and I even got #1 new release for American poetry and Contemporary poetry on the zon. I did a small marketing push but put zero dollars behind it.
It feels a lot more stressful this time. 🫣
