Executively dysfunctional, yet occasionally effectful programmer. Crazy trans dyke. Electronic music nerd. Autistic af. Plays lots of games in all the spare time that's no use for anything else.

Not at least putting it on the same terms as someone currently really broke with energy debt and telling you it'd be like that ahead of time is bad enough tbh.

(...I'm still waiting for Scottish Power to read a meter they locked into credit mode)

Oof, that reminds me a bit much of US health insurance...

There's an easy answer to "rich person uses this more" anyway: tax 'em

This is much more so if they're planning on showing UGC to new people automatically: they clearly become responsible for publishing it.

Disney have vastly more to lose that way: multiple incidents in short succession could put a very large dent in their business.

If they're daft enough to do it at first, it's still unlikely to stay that way for long.

Would be more honest if it was "crack one off for your health" tbh
November 12, 2025 at 6:43 PM
why, is there some reason you guys won't do it yourselves?...
November 12, 2025 at 6:05 PM
And vice versa. Banks caught on to the fucker early.

He already did. Read Surface Detail? Any of the characters seem a bit like Musk?

(One of the first things I ask people who live with others who post "got covid, any advice?" is "do you have an air purifier? How about two so it can be made somewhat safe for you to leave your [possibly temporary] bedroom?")
November 12, 2025 at 1:47 PM
By the same argument they should probably be running air purification in a *lot* of places with a decent ACH rate!
