IT updates typically start at Saturday midnight to the following morning. Not during business hours. No matter what zip code you type, it fails. I believe this is deliberate. Fuckers!!

Time flies. Been busy creating charts and tracks for a gypsy jazz gig that's a first. All music is in the public domain. I found 42 songs on "The Genius of Django" 21 CD set that are PD. I can play venues that don't pay ASCAP/BMI fees!!! See comments.

Looking at an "Apple Indirect" solo someone transcribed and totally missed the mark. The low "G" is an open string. The low "Ab" is actually a low "G" - a false note. Django Reinhardt used false notes ingeniously. It's too fast for the human ear to know. "Fake it until you make it!" --as they say.

Guitar Pro 8 has a feature I've been trying out and I have to admit, it's pretty awesome. This a the last section of Django Reinhardt's 1939 "Low Cotton" solo. It's a real tool in getting the rhythm notation correct. The TAB is for a two finger solo. Enjoy!
