Many moons ago, I made a video essay about one of my favorite films, ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST. Claudia Cardinale in many ways was the centre of that film, consistently juxtaposed with haunting and wistful musical crescendos, against vast Western landscapes. The beautiful untamed West.

Terence Stamp is irreplaceable. And though there are many unforgettable clips of him over our lifetimes, his short stint in BOWFINGER is one of my favorites. I can’t imagine anyone else providing a stern calming presence contrasting Eddie Murphy’s energy. RIP
