Anyways, huge personal milestone - drew my own Gargoyles fan character today and holy moly it looks okay! Looks close to the show style, which is something I've always wanted to do ;^; I know its a simple goal but it was mine.

I kinda felt a little disappointed in my art summary this year. In my mind, it felt like I'd done so much more finished work.

BUT

I still *feel* like there's been some improvements just brewing in the background, things I see in my sketches and doodles and not my finished work. #ArtSummary2024

So apparently I spent 5hrs on this in Procreate...and I still don't like it, lol. I compare it too much to using CSP on a computer, where I have all my fave brushes and know how to do everything. I am not so well versed in procreate xD #digitalArt #DnD #Ranger #archer #dragonborn

From cute to scrungly. Wolfish anthro kinda character. If you've ever seen Sword in the Stone, there's a scrawny wolf that tries to catch the young Wart. Trying to channel that energy.

Another scenic piece. Really like this for some reason but can't put my finger on it lol. Had fun with the atmosphere and adding the grime and dust and muck, etc. Environment concepts and scenic pieces seem to be going brrrr in my brain at the moment. Kinda wish more folks enjoyed it though.

Some very recent environment work, all of it for ARPG lol. But it has been nice, brain always settles into a happy place when I do environment stuff. Getting better each time in terms of colour and whatnot, though I know there are places to get better again. Just gotta keep going :3

Barrels are strewn across the sandy undulating hills. Without sounding really twee or whatever, sometimes designing a character feels like trying to discover them instead. I had an initial vision for this character, and even though this isn't exactly it, I still like what has come to the surface through sketching.
