It’s hard raising your head above the parapet - we've lost one of our own.

We all have fond memories of Dr Al Majid or, as known to friends, Sulay. He remains a respected former committee officer.

May he rest in peace.

It’s wonderful! If you haven’t been/ are still there, Ross Sands is a wonderfully off the beaten track place for a nice walk too. Feels remote and often very quiet.

You can see both Lindisfarne and Bamburgh castles from the same beach too!
