I'd guess the dealership model is a huge impediment to more stable, predictable, and transparent pricing. Yet one more reason amongst many to kill that model. Direct-to-consumer is drastically better.

That way when I hit the trails with friends I won't be the only one with a motor (which I don't really need). And for commuting, errands, etc, I'll have the capacity and power of the cargo ebike.
