It's wonderful! I love how much it moves. How do you keep them alive? I keep killing mine; it feels like even a bad look is enough to do them in.

Maybe you could find a less random company or a company you want to work for? Sure your code won’t outlive you but at least you can have an impact on something that matters to you

4. As a mechanical keyboard fan (I'm a stereotypical web developer) I often faced unavailable keyboards sets because of the ISO layout (used in some EU countries).

Using an ANSI layout opens the door to many more options, which will have an impact on my finances

3. Documentation is easier to follow. Similar to shortcuts, I remember struggling to follow documentation when I had issues.

Documentation are mostly written in English with US keyboard and having the same keyboard as writer helps a lot. It happen rarely buy is a real pain when it happens

2. Besides having the key accessible, another advantage is to have all the shortcuts working out of the box.

In the past, I was not able to comment blocks or line of code in VS Code because of the Swiss layout. I can now use all shortcuts without changing configuration

1. First advantage is the key accessibility. All keys required for development are easily accessible and only require one modifier.

This is not the case for Swiss (or French) keyboards and it was a refreshing change

I agree someone from the team has to speak up and apologize

He’s a dev not PR or marketing so he gave his insights and how he fixed the bug. There is no downplaying the issue l, it’s something that wasn’t done (partly because it’s a beta) and it’s now fixed

Are those olds account, and the recent fixes only focus on avoiding people registering with offensive words and slurs?

I don't know if this lack of safety is related to the Silicon Valley mindset of move fast and break things, but this definitively has its limits, and it should have been addressed for quite sometimes, I feel like.

These are the points that seem to stand out and make sense to me. It's entirely possible that something is missing, and I'd be happy to learn more about it.

I’m out of the loop and don’t know the situation so my comment might not be correct.

I spoke as software developer and I know that tickets can pile up and it’s not possible to keep up with them depending on the priorities an business requirements.

I’ll dig this further to better understand it

I don’t know the context and how things are handled but having an issue open doesn’t guarantee that it will be fixed.

I’m sure the team has a lot on his hands and didn’t had the time to work on that.

On the plus side, being open source made it possible for a contributor to fix the issue.

Elon always finds a way to impress me how stupid and desperate he is. The midlife crisis hit him hard

Oh right I didn’t thought of AC! I don’t know if your looking for any solution but air circulator such as what Vornardo is doing are quite great at making the heat bearable

Musk could do the same and have a cyborg girlfriend. He’ll be the crazy billionaire with a robot wife that would show only for Tesla presentation and disappear for another year

You’re either on the worst or the best continent depending on how you look at it
