It's incredible for me to get funded by the major organization on the study of human evolution, as I got into paleontology when I learned that near my hometown they had found several Homo-bearing fossil localities (e.g., Ceprano) and decided to fully commit to the study of the deep time.

Caverna Generosa is a renowned Late Pleistocene cave of the Italian Alps which yielded 9 Mousterian stone tools and houndreds of fossils of ice age mammals, in particular of cave bears (for this reason the cave is also known as "Grotta dell'Orso" literally "Bear's Cave").
