Original design on Clip Paint and early layers plotting out the shape. Ended up printing the line art straight onto embroidery paper, which I'll definitely be doing from now on!

A couple of progress pics and my hand for scale
Image of same green embroidered dragon, incomplete with a hand for scale. The dragons body, not including tail, is a similar size to the full hand. Same green embroidered dragon with all embroidery complete except the tail section. Still in embroidery hoop. Earlier progress pic of same embroidered green dragon. Only the face, belly, part of the wing and part of the front leg and neck area have been completed. The rest of the body has been outlined minus the beard and tail.

Been a minute since I did an embroidery piece! This is Gorbash from Flight of Dragons - an Xmas gift for family. This was mounted in a frame with a poem I wrote.

Just a few progress pics of the latest noodle, plus my original design. Whipped my Huion out for this one. As always the finished product deviated from the plan somewhat, but overall this one ended up pretty similar.

Still taking 20-30 hours per noodle.

Another noodle completed! This one was a gift. First try with embroidery paper, overall I'm happy with it, just need to wash my next piece out a bit more thoroughly before ironing.

A noodle shaped dragon with a long loopy scarf in the asexual pride flag colours (black, grey, white, purple) wrapping around it's coils. The dragon is yellow from head to mid body, then orange until it thins for the tail, which is red. Four pairs of wings with orange and red feathers. Fur tipped tail and mane are a mix of reds, orange and yellow, with a small brown antler-like horn protruding from the mane. Hand embroidered on purple cotton fabric patterned with DnD dice.

A few progress pics, plus the original design. The snoot shortening was an accident but I decided to forgo the legs. May include them in any future dragon noodles but I wanted to make project two a little easier on myself!. Learnt a lot this time round!

Finally finished project number 2, a dragon worm noodle with a non binary scarf. I should really start timing myself but I reckon from design to finish this took me at least 15-20 hours.

Puckered the fabric a bit so need to watch for that on project 3

Special guest found in the composter today. We don't have a lot of native reptiles in the UK so love finding me a slow worm (Anguis fragilis). This one is likely a female due to the dark flanks and dorsal stripe. Special little legless compost noodle
