I have already removed the old wire and install 6 gauge wire for the two hot wires and 10 gauge wire for the ground wire.

The unit no longer overheats.

For the electrical layperson, 10 gauge wire is thinner than 6 gauge wire. Using a wire that is too thin is 1000% a fire hazard.

If the EV supply equipment hadn't had an onboard sensor to know the unit/wires were getting too hot, then I very well might have had an electrical fire.

In Dallas yesterday visiting friends: a bewildered older gentleman was trying to pay for parking at the same time I was. Payment options were text-a-number or QR code; his phone refused to read the QR code, and he'd never sent a text before. He probably would've been stuck if I hadn't helped.

I expect to be rewarded with Soul Calibur 2 eventually.
