My first Metroid game was Metroid Prime, and I never really was into traditional metroidvanias until a friend bought me Timespinner and I played it in a randomizer.

I've since played several metroidvanias, and today, I completed Super Metroid 100%.

I get it now. Good game.

The GM Energy charging stations by EVgo have turned into my favorite charging network.

Paired with Flying J/Pilot, it means we're always somewhere with predictable convenience and the stations are usually covered, which is very nice

I just scheduled a bucketlist vacation: riding the California Zephyr in autumn.

My at-home EV supply equipment wouldn't run at full speed and was throwing an indicator of overheating. After a while I started to become suspicious so I took it apart and checked it.

The electrician I hired used 10 gauge wire with a 60A 240V breaker.

It calls for 6 gauge.

Fuck me, I guess.
