my weirdly specific pet peeve is when they make music boxes for video games but don't use the songs from the game that are ACTUALLY music box pieces

Ending 2 of Silent Hill f is get and the more I play the more I realize I expected Silent Hill vs When They Cry and that’s literally what we got. And it’s great! It’s not quite one or the other but has recognizable highlights of both.

Without spoilers I will say a) the Silent Hill Symbolism ™️ is about as subtle as a brick to the face but a lot of it is due to the journal system, the REAL surprise is all the info it withholds from you until round 2
