It doesnt look like he’s ever even addressed the plagiarism allegations- if I didn’t know better I’d think he’s deliberately keeping the narrative focused on AI, because it’s so hard to prove.

It’s interesting that the AI stuff is what everyone is talking about rather than the stealing and tracing from other artists. While I know he’s using AI, it’s harder to prove & to the average person maybe not even that big a deal.

Mandy is such a famous character and Dean Yeagle’s style is so recognizable. Mulligan blatantly repurposed it, even the face, though he could have made it look like Carrie Fisher if he wanted to.

Before the AI thing started, I often noticed that he was stealing poses from other artists. Even when I didn’t immediately recognize the source there was such a jump in quality that I’d think “well he obviously didn’t draw that himself”. Usually I could find the source with a quick google search.
