The main thing I'm learning about a lot of Trump II staffers is so many of them are obsessed with their own individual policy bugbears (ex: war with China over Taiwan) and are so dedicated to tearing other things down to achieve their one thing that it may just cause Federal Three Stooges Syndrome.

Same here. That said, I do have genuine reservations on wanting to get an EV since I'm in Florida and there have been a lot of reports of EVs here catching on fire after a hurricane, particularly if it floods. Maybe it's just a Tesla thing & other EVs don't have the same issue?
