actually i didnt get this from the research tasks.
i. i somehow got it from the only repeatable method in the game. it was my 5th time doing it and i got it when its a 1.38% chance.

the wild zones with eevee dont get unlocked until a bit into the game but theres one specific eevee on a rooftop you can find very early on at least and you can immediately just buy a thunderstone from the stone emporium shop whenever so

of course, a main reason for this was because i got froakie from a sidequest and used that on my team too, and since the mega stone is surprisingly not that hard to get, he's been rocking it on my team. feraligatr didnt stand a chance.
