Just so we're clear, I am not cool with how things have played out. We're starting 4 years (minimum) of the worst that the worst can do to us. I'm not overly vocal on things, but if you (straight, gay, trans, black, white, etc) are cool with me, I'm cool with you. Always have been, always will be.

you do have to do it in a couple of places but this tutorial makes it easy to go uncheck the boxes that otherwise lets Google's AI read all your shit. or move everything over to protonmail but moving everything over is a giant thing I know.
Google has started automatically opting you in to let it read your stuff to train AI. You need to turn this off in SEVERAL places in your settings (not just for Gmail), if you want to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

you do have to do it in a couple of places but this tutorial makes it easy to go uncheck the boxes that otherwise lets Google's AI read all your shit. or move everything over to protonmail but moving everything over is a giant thing I know.

Sadly, ShiftUp doesn't have a #Nikke presence on Bluesky (& still insists on using Twitter for contests & social media). That's not going to stop me from saying on here - HOLY F*CK, ShiftUp, why are your writers so cruel while so good?! The #GoddessFall event story was amazing & heart wrenching!

My entry for @galacticarmory.net Trench Crusade contest. Didn't win, but with ~200 entries & some seriously stiff competition (& life throwing a number of issues up while underway), getting into the top ~1/4 - 1/5 of the results by votes is big effing win in my book. Hope more contests will happen!
That was a lot of fun! Had a friend & his family come over & went along with them through my neighborhood. There were a lot of trick or treaters this year. Had kids saying how cool the get-up looked & adults wanting to take photos of the setup and asking how I made it. #Halloween

I miss playing @guildwars2.com , haven't played in probably 2 years, mainly cause life has strained me so much that I wouldn't be able to sit back & enjoy it. I still have to finish the post-End of Dragons content, but I am so buying the new expansion so it's ready for me when I'm ready for it.

Had to print the suppressor at a 45 degree angle to not have support material clog up the barrel and threads, first time trying out that method and it worked out great.

Some progress shots of the #Helldivers2 and #TrenchCrusade #3dpribt helmets I've been working on. The Helldiver helmet is going back to my friend for a little more prep work before painting begins, and the Trench Pilgrim helmet will be wet sanded and get it's first coat of color (assuming no issues)

Was watching a @galacticarmory.net video on 3d printing #cosplay , & how they don't support the top inside of a helmet, & that it doesn't matter if it gets stringy as long as the exterior prints fine. It made me think - "ah, yes, cosplay, where it's fine to say it's not what's inside that matters."
