Nice weekend grilling: pork belly and chicken with pickled veggies, kimchi, chili cucumber, and (not pictured) corn for sides. Great way to use up CSA veggies!

Banchan used to hate touch and would pee in her kennel when Joe walked up the stairs and now she's cuddling up in bed for some loving. Rescue pups can be a lot of work but when it works out it's so amazing.

Honestly gave up on the garden this year (bad AQI/heat/rain made it impossible to keep up with weeding + sickness/surgery/travel) but still managed to get another bucket of food today. Gonna take this as a learning year and get back at it next year.

Pretty sure I got heat exhaustion again (third time this summer which is wild since this didn't used to happen to me) but the view was pretty so maybe worth it

The dogs are usually totally fine in storms but they woke me up to get some extra cuddles from this; didn't even need to turn the lights up to go upstairs since there's so much lightning I could see perfectly fine

Big CSA haul this week from HAFA - very glad we split our full share with a friend. Splitting like that means each of us pays a little under 600 and we get the CSA from May-Thanksgiving which is super worth it~

She doesn't like big storms (I think it makes her hips hurt) so we cuddled up and she fell asleep on me; she's the best baby. I really need to brush and go to sleep but she's snoring away so I'll stay up a bit longer.

I change lockscreen, background, and app icons every 6 months or so along with a new case and screen protector once a year, gives the new phone vibe for a fraction of the cost. Right now it just animates and says good morning~

Over the past few years we've reseeded with drought tolerant seed when a spot dies so we wouldn't need to water the yard, but when it actually rains it goes nuts. I mowed 6 days ago, this is how much more the drought tolerant seed grew compared to the regular lawn.

What my coworkers get to see in meetings every day I use wide angle to make sure you have the best chance of seeing both dogs 😂 also have the steamdeck in frame so my boss knows im being good and not playing during the meeting.
