She didn’t even need to necessarily read it. Consuming a better balance of media would have done it. I’m an American nobody living in fricking Norway, and I knew it was in there well before the vote.

Confidence way out of proportion with their competence. For some, you can also sub ‘volume’ for ‘confidence’ - truly confident, competent people don’t have to yell - or use ALL CAPS - all the time. The louder someone is, the more skeptical I am.
