That is incorrect. Cell phones, smart watches, tablets etc. are not allowed at Camp Mystic. Plus, the area has spotty cell service at best. The ONLY warning system that could have saved lives is a siren, but FEMA, Abbott, & Republican legislators all refused to assist Kerr County in paying for one.

That is incorrect. Cell phones, smart watches, tablets etc. are not allowed at Camp Mystic. Plus, the area has spotty cell service at best. The ONLY warning system that could have saved lives is a siren, but FEMA, Abbott, & Republican legislators all refused to assist Kerr County in paying for one.

To those of us who studied the end of WWI, the rise and fall of the Weimar Republic and the ascent of Hitler, much of what is currently happening is a literal replay of the tactics employed.
