I love boardgames, card games & tabletop RPGs — and I’m designing a stabby little card game.
Oh man, if you can believe it I have not played Cascadia for whatever crazy reason. Need to dive into that.

Games that have simple rules but deep strategy are my sweet spot. Azul is another good one in that category.

It looks like it’d be fun even when you have a wide age spread in the family/group playing

I love the game bc the table sets the style of play. My wife and I can play a mellow game over a glass of wine or the kids can play and turn up the competition to 11. Plus there are some solid expansions.

Emrikol the Chaotic would really liven up this lame scene.

I enjoyed as much cold fun and hot fun as friend computer found prudent!

Easily it’s Paranoia. They exploded the concept of an RPG into such hilarious mayhem that my friends and I still talk about some sessions decades later.

That said, shout out to RuneQuest for showing how far you can take a system and have its mechanics support constantly growing world building.

I gotta get out there again. There are dozens of them; insects, modern animals, prehistoric, fantasy, so on.

Cooool. The campaign booklet for The Anarchy has been playing nicely so I was hoping for similar things from Yu. Thanks — I gotta get this game!

How do you like it? I’m a huge fan of other Garphill titles and have been tempted to get this one.

Thanks for this! Super fun and also a cool way to give NPCs some flavor. Big fan of your art.

I continue to love it for its simple rules-deep strategy approach. That’s a rare quality in a game.

There’s something insanely irksome about seeing this being reported by the same publication that helped Trump get elected.

I love it. Is that a metric Fett?
