Five Goblins is the dream of potter, Rennie, and LARPer Nicole Caruso. She makes every day art for everyday life.
I see it as iterations on a theme -- in this case it's the curious octopus exploring an object. This was my first try and, if he hadn't tried to lose a tentacle by cracking at the base in the glaze kiln, I would have sold him and iterated. Instead he gets to live with me and I'm iterating anyway.

Thank you so much! I love my Fire and Earth series and I am so glad others like it too.

Right now my kiln/glazes live in borrowed space and I can't fit anything else in there. I can talk to Rachel and see if she has space but it's not going to get arranged before this weekend. So yes but also not right now

I am so happy that you said that because that's such an amazing setting to imagine my work in -- maybe I'll make something for one of the LARPs I play. 🤔

These are great tips! I'll throw a little thicker than usual.

NGL, if I didn't live in a capitalist hellscape I would give my art away. So, I'll undergo the hell of deciding how to value a piece of original art until after The Revolution and I don't have to anymore.

I love a good crackle, so delicious. I want to be a potter poltergeist now!

This is fabulous. It's nice to hear that other artists like vibe-based commissions as well so I'm . . . not . . . weird . . . Oh hell, I just invalidated my whole comment.

Hooking a clay 3D printer to ChatGPT feels like a masterclass in "AI doesn't understand physics" so at least it will be cost ineffective to try and print stolen work. They'll have to keep stealing from us via good old slipcasting instead. 🙃
