Canadians might be interested to know in 2006 Harper AND Pierre Poilievre made this same promise - and then they went and actually INCREASED the tax rate on the lowest earning income bracket, back UP to 17% after Paul Martin and the Liberal Party had LOWERED it to 16%. PP's promises mean squat.
