Foreigner. Citizen. Educated. Ignorant. Expert. Fool. Aware. Bewildered. I muddle along, generally fit for purpose.
It’s not exactly a picnic living in a tiny country whose trade and security is being damaged by US dysfunction, knowing you can’t even vote for constructive change.

As I’ve said before. If you can’t handle a gun properly, you shouldn’t be allowed to have one.

For some definitions of functioning.

Not only running the country but actively and openly trying to reclaim the lost territories. “Anything that has been Russian will be Russian again.“

Make two identical birds. One from mild steel sheet and the other from Corten. Come back in a couple of decades and see which one looks best. Or even exists still.

Well not necessarily. Would JFK after becoming familiar with what’s going on promote the same policies and tax settings? I doubt it. I mean, he’d still be a horn dog, but that’s a personal policy. I think? Then again looking at the bipartisan behaviour of politicians, maybe not.

I’m eyeing up billionaires and thinking 91% looks pretty damed tempting.

I just want to hear what @dieworkwear.bsky.social has to say about the shirt.

Last time I saw a ship smoking that badly it was left over Soviet naval junk.

Are there likely to be consequences for such blatant perjury?

@fallofcivilizations.com , Paul, the latest episode is fantastic by the way. Have listened to it twice now. Thank you.

Sounds like me in Iceland.
Me: If you don’t mind we’ll sit by the window so we can look at the stunning view. You’re so lucky to live here.
Young waiter: [grunts] Here’s your soup.

Snort.

Well, they don’t want to make bad news for Trump easy to understand do they. Not yet anyway.

As an everyday example, I went to the doctor this week. Consult cost NZ$73 including the credit card surcharge. Ninety day supply of statins NZ$5. An extensive raft of blood tests NZ$0.

I live in a country that does this. We also have a single buyer of pharmaceuticals. Not perfect, but much better overall. Much cheaper than the US system, higher life expectancy, almost everyone gets the healthcare they need, the really wealthy can top up privately - still cheaper than the US.

Imagine if we had a device that vocalised the thoughts of the person being asked the question. Nearly everything would be one of:
1. Thank god I know this
2. Sucker! Didn’t ask me about…
3. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit.

My first thought was night of the long knives, but then that was carefully planned and executed which reinforces your point in any case.
November 19, 2025 at 6:00 AM
That’s exactly what I said based on my deep knowledge gained from watching video from Ukraine. Still don’t want to be anywhere near one.
November 19, 2025 at 5:54 AM
Man Trump is really angry about this loss. If he was down with it as he now claims he wouldn’t be reacting like that.

You need a friendly logistician to sort everything for you prior to the fundraiser so you can just focus on that.

Irish. That explains the obstinacy and willingness to argue with fools.

As a student I would have been embarrassed to serve that to my flatmates and we were skint.

But @radiofreetom.bsky.social is not a reporter. He comments, analyses, and opines. Not reportage.
