Why a judge hasn't been appointed to lead the enquiry, I don't know. It is quite right that no Police, Social Worker, CPS, or local government official leads the enquiry.

One is so insecure he has to court attention from the media. The other just gets on with his job.

The option actually says, 'Show less like this', but that is grammatically incorrect.

I see no leadership. No plan. No coordinated response to Trump. In fact, some are acquiescing - Schumer, Fetterman, etc. Democrats need a competent, forceful, eloquent leader who acknowledges the mistakes of the past openly but promotes a positive future.

Weak Kier Starmer @kierstarmerpm.bsky.social is bowing down to Trump, who will take, take, take and give nothing. Starter thinks he will get a great trade deal by being submissive. He won't. Trump is not trustworthy. He has no friends - just enemies he does deals with.

I am afraid that the USA has become a bad joke, an embarrassment. Its government is a complete joke. From across the pond, I still cannot contemplate how a western democracy voted for Trump. I really fear for America's future.

Matt, you are obviously correct. Trump received 49.9% of the votes, more than Kamala in second place. I should have more precise.

2/3 unless the following changes, USA is lost.
1. Wholly politically impartial judiciary with non-political appointments.
2. Abandon the ludicrous Presidential pardon system
3. Nationwide vote system for President.

The only hope is that the adminstration is as inept as elected Republicans have been for the past four years, and the mid-terms are reached with the electorate coming to their senses. I fear they have learnt their lesson. The world needs more centrist, concensus politics with tolerance. From England

What a wonderful statement from the future (supposed) leader of the free world. This Presidency will be the worst in American history. Divisiveness, hate, retribution, self-enrichment, anti-scientific, confrontation, nepotism, ignorance, selfishness, chaotic, alienation, isolationist, small-minded.

The Danish government should call in the the US Ambassador now ( I know Trump doesn't take office until 20 January) and protest in the strongest terms. It will make a statement. Countries must stand up to Trump. Consider suspending USA from NATO and require the withdrawal of US bases in Europe (1/2)

I think we understand in England that it is not all Americans, but personally I still cannot comprehend how anyone voted for Trump, let alone a majority. How does anyone thinks he should lead the (currently) most powerful country in the world? He, and unfortunately USA, is a laughing stock.
