I liked the first two movies but I've admittedly soured a bit on the second over time

Naoto be like: you need to max two of your personality stats to even start mine and you get two months to complete my shit good luck

though I also gotta say I'm kinda kicking myself for not getting GR2 physically back when it was still cheap because the ending very clearly sets up for it

but oh well, I'll play it eventually

The gameplay isn't always perfectly executed and the story unfortunately feels pretty rushed in the final hours but at the end of the day it's an incredibly charming and unique game

Kat is also based af and must be protected at all costs

oh yeah and I've never really been huge on the final scene, and I remember feeling that even shortly after my first watch

honestly it might also be partly a byproduct of being around people who don't really like it but it also just made me kinda re-evaluate the movie in general so idk

I don't really like any of the characters aside from Blanc (even the female lead is sorta meh) and I don't really care for the mystery that much in hindsight, though that could also be chalked up to forgetting some details
I'm also not big on its humor but I wasn't huge on that in KO either so

Damn didn't see this update until now
I've soured a little on Glass Onion since I first watched it a few years back but seeing your analysis on this makes me much more interested in watching WUDM

The animation is surprisingly good and it feels like a feature length CG cutscene from a video game but in a really charming way
And while the villains aren't super compelling, I love their contrast to the turtles' dynamic in this movie and it makes the climax all the better for me

December: TMNT (2007 movie) (rewatch) (8/10)

I roughly remember how this movie went plot-wise but I don't really have strong feelings towards it looking back

so I wanna see if it holds up!

-but no matter what happens, I'll never stop loving this original

And that of course includes my og goat the GBA version-

It may not be anywhere close in quality to where the series has gotten over the years, but you can see the seeds of what makes Tales special even in this first game
I hope that someday we'll get a rerelease of the PSP version or even a remake-
