(violin was a side thing and not the main topic) my spouse as usual is doing the communicating/transacting for which I'm grateful. (they don't know my new number.)

been playing since I was 6 ish and had the violin in question since I was 14, it was with me through a lot and now that I don't have one to practice on it's been kinda "lost" to me (expensive, didn't replace...) Not sure I'd even know what to do with it if I did get it back

This is possibly not news to you depending on who’s reading. I just reposted a bunch of old art and I’ve also resumed semi-daily art practice (single wet piece of confetti falls on ground to commemorate.) and so I was thinking of it all again

bad, cont.: unhappy discussion w husband this morning. tho he has been making good progress & a lot’s changed for the better, i’m still the one broaching it when he’s not doing what he commits to or leaves things til the last second that aren’t compatible w that (most netural way i can describe it)

it seems every time I join in on karaoke my brain gets a bit more fixed and I become able to maintain a higher level of eye contact and talking in social situations afterwards

I could see people sympathizing with her too much. possible my opinion is skewed by knowing too many people who want mean lady to punish them. she's supposed to be unacceptably intolerant and full of herself even if she's often right

The most major of the issues along w throat hurts is head hurts and have no energy even after a nap

having said that, I think presenting a mystery is often better than giving the answer. knowing the truth is secondary for the characters vs their practical concerns and the (true) superstition that contemplating a certain something/someone gives them more power

I follow the school of thought of forcing the reader to take much at face value eg jjba Jotaro's hat is his hair and it's never explained or pointed out, but then certain things fun to expound on for their strangeness/complexity (like stands) should be talked about

still have to adapt the real life info to the fantastical scenario of the enemy force being freaky nonhuman combatants, sorry to say there is nothing about that on wikipedia ,

ended up reading about coastal fortress siege that coincides with things I need to know about warfare and also a bit of the "late stage hear ye" vibe (holy roman empire) I'm doing in my fictional setting for the mainland

Well, the gatekeeper need not be me, just some gatekeeper if you have someone with no discernment for dropping punctuation / other mistakes who doesn't realize that usually happens because they are mentally fatigued and not methodically balancing that out
