I see what you mean! Nice way to make all your models pitch agnostic. I'm playing on the cardboard pitch that came in the 2016 boxed set, so that's what I base for. I also like how it unifies all my teams together, as much as I don't like the process.

AP's stuff is a lot better nowadays. Still not Vallejo good, but if you're not locked in on a specific Citadel color, they're definitely the better option. The metallics aren't goopy and need only a little thinning. A moist brush is enough. A couple layers and they're good.

I've been using VGC Glorious Gold. Army Painter's Greedy Gold or Emperor Gold are good too!

Did they thumb it up with burner accos or are there really that many chuds watching you?

I'd like to get more 2TC paints, but the only local shop that stocks them has only wave 1 paints, and even then not all of them. Maybe half? I could order online, but I'd rather use the shipping costs for more paints, really.

Yeah, I got Lelith Hesperax with full intention of swapping the head because the paintjob made it look like the standard GW angry raisin, but once I looked at the model, I realized it was just their insistence on extremely stark shadows on faces.
