Anyway, the MN GOP are trying to pass a bill that would give school boards the ability to roll back unemployment insurance for hourly school workers and that’s not okay with me.

A nutrition service worker asked if Trump dismantling the Department of Education could cost them their job. We had an honest conversation and both came to the conclusion that the only power they had was to join their union. They signed up and agreed to come to bargaining. #solidarity #unions

If Trump dismantles the Department of Education, the careers of thousands of paraprofessionals are in jeopardy. There are so many students with high needs that need our paras to for that care. It would be a catastrophe for students, workers, and parents.
