The error of the neo-Luddites is that they have lost the experience Marx refers to; half of them valorise the Chartists & the Luddites as superior examples to follow than e.g. the Bolsheviks. Even that's charitable; for many red liberals it's as simple as "technology bad".

Yes. Marx on Luddism: “It took both time and experience before workers learnt to distinguish between machinery and its employment by capital, and therefore to transfer their attacks from the material instruments of production to the form of society which utilises those instruments.”
