The truth is I would much prefer a train to a waymo, but San Jose's VTA is the literal worst transit system in the world. It would take me 4 hours to get to work on it because it averages 13 miles an hour and snakes all over the place.

Bluesky will hate me for saying this, but sometimes you have to distinguish between when a consumer boycott or buyer shaming is effective vs when other means that target the wider public, labor, and state would be more effective.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.

It blows my mind that the same people who have been trying to falsely paint pro-Palestine protests around the country as being antisemitic have said nothing about the explicitly antisemitic rally being organised for August 31. Instead doing the opposite; offering to promote, support and endorse it.
