Just stumbled across the State of the Arc podcast and completely loaded up my listening backlog. Great, cerebral analysis of different video games/topics, with a heavy FF/RPG focus. An upcoming series of Expedition 33.

The Big Bang Theory is my feel good show. I love the silly humor, witty dialogue and lightheartedness. Also scratches that nostalgic itch. Just finished watching the series a few months ago. Normally I’d wait a few years for another watch but with the country/world how it is…I may need to start ASAP

Where has everyone been hiding Cowboy Bebop all these years?! Three episodes in and I am hooked. Exactly the kind of show I was looking for - love when that happens with shows, games, etc.

Granblue Fantasy Relink has been quite the treat so far.
As a Final Fantasy fan, it’s scratching that itch like crazy.
Storytelling and open-zone akin to FFX, with combat similar to FF7R.
It’s good.

Decided to try Granblue Fantasy Relink after many times considering it before
Very happy I did. Combat is great, quite similar to the FF7 remakes, story is good and doesn’t drag

Thought Final Fantasy Tactics was a pretty fun game. Great story but gameplay, while updated, still seemed a bit antiquated for my liking.
Decided to give Triangle Strategy a try while I’m still in the tactics mindset. Looking forward to it.

I LOVE FINAL FANTASY XV. The most tragic of stories, Noctis' relationship with Gladio, Ignis (I've found a new recipe), and especially Prompto are what deeply moved me. Beyond the impossible stakes, the touching emphasis on friendship is one I think about often.

Took me the first 2 chapters to get into Final Fantasy Tactics, but it’s finally got its hooks in me
I’m still not the biggest fan of tactical/strategic RPGs, but I’ll see this one through and appreciate it for what it is

This may explain why there’s an aggressive response to people who merely post Kirk’s own words. It threatens the existence of the alternate Kirk - the motivational speaker that had been marketed to young kids and white Christian groups through selective quotation & clips.

Two of my last three games played are FF IX and FF X
I know there is a lot of love for both, and halfway through each I would’ve said that IX was much better than X. But X really landed with me through the last stretch of the game.
So happy I finally played both but I’ll remember FF X forever
