Just a progressive scientist who actually cares more about people than scoring points. What's so wrong with being compassionate and caring? It's a lie that we have to trample our neighbors in order to succeed.
Lol, it was both never gone and also never quite existed depending on who's defining it.

Just like how the Dems were too focused on radical issues because MAGA spent all their time telling everybody who'd listen that they were.

Does that mean he had somebody on the left do a study for him? Seeing as how the right is colorblind, and all...

I'm not sure anybody could actually know how Reagan would've received Trumpism, or why it's relevant, for that matter, but it does smack of demagoguery.

Did Reagan pave the way for Trump? ‘You can trace the linkages,’ says biographer
The 80s president known for sunny optimism also has a darker legacy on issues like race and Aids. ‘I don’t think you can just say, wow, Trump arrived from Mars,’ says Max Boot

Yeah, from all accounts Reagan would've been right at home in MAGA world. He was pretty damn awful and played a huge role in the right's replacement of policy with populism.

I'll complain about signs that omit accurate recounting of past misdeeds, since not knowing about them makes it more likely they'll be repeated, a huge negative.

What's that thing MAGA always brings up about how people are inherently bad, guilty for the crimes of ancestors? Of right, the Bible.

They likely do perceive an anti-Christian bias, that part is true. What's false is when they claim to hold liberty as freedom from government overreach. Christian nationalism redefines this to mean freedom to conform to a specific religious and moral code, which is enforced by the state.

I don't know why people are claiming that to be Christian is to act a certain way. If there even is such an objective thing as Christianity, we can track it's historical arc, and Christian Nationalism is nothing new, it started with Emperor Constantine in the 4th century.

I'm glad there are Christians that don't support slavery, it's just disturbing how somebody that would've credited scriptural exegesis for the abolition of slavery and attested to the constitution being divinely inspired has completely inverted these once considered practically feasible.

I'm sure this man of God will have a revelation that Satan was working through the child to tempt him, and that his vile sin was actually a boon, allowing him to get closer to Jesus, who forgives him and calls him to spread this message to all the children of the world.

To be fair, I've seen a number of MAGA supporters accept that we're the ones paying the tariffs, it's just that when they come around to it they suddenly support being taxed more to help deal with the deficit, and Trump is a hero for making the tough decision to bleed us dry.

These "I used to have my head up a Democrat's ass, so you can trust me when I tell you how much better it is up Trump's" are so tired.

LifeWise's own goal is "solving the separation of church and state," and they argue this separation is a protection that must be defended.

Oh damn, didn't he also warn that homosexuals would lead to the destruction of society?

I guess we don't have to wonder any longer what punishment he has in mind.

As crazy as this is it's the sanitized, safe-for-tv version. Doug Wilson's actual views can be found in his earlier work. He tested the limits on what he said to gauge pushback, and now he's got this show and dance.

He's for capital punishment for moral sins like homosexuality and adultery.
