[17] George Henry (1858-1943) was a member of the Glasgow School. He even travelled to Japan. The Cabbage Girl (1887), Autumn (1889), An at Home in Japan (1894) & Felicity (1916)

I have just stumbled upon this exciting news. I'm so deeply fascinated by the history between Glasgow and Japan in the 1800s that I'm researching a book about it.
Good luck with this fabulous project. I'll look forward to seeing it and hopefully hearing updates along the way.
