As an outsider looking in it seems that hate speech under the guise of free speech is fine, even celebrated, but the media is not allowed free speech or they face being muzzled and banned, not just local commentators, but international press as well.

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

This. And those who voted for this will be shocked. They shouldn't be, but they will be shocked.
When they run out of undocumented immigrants to round up, they will come for documented immigrants, then naturalized citizens, and finally, citizens.

Fascism continually has to reinvent the “enemy” within to stay in power.

There are 33m companies in the USA. Only 21k employe 500 or more. And they only make up 23% of workers.

Trump and Elon are ignoring the more than 32m entrepreneurs that can't afford to build a new factory or pay tariffs or absorb cancelled contracts.

The federal civilian worker payroll totaled $271 billion in 2022.

The annual cost of permanently extending Trump's tax cuts that primarily benefited rich individuals? $400 billion.

Keep this in mind as Trump and DOGE lay off thousands of federal workers.

30 years ago I got my Resident Alien card. But nowhere felt like home to me. Over the years i have thought about formally asking to cancel it. But maybe it is time.

How can anyone claim to be pro-life and sit back while medicaid, USAID and more are cut. People will starve, people will die from lack of medication and treatment, people with HIV will die from aids. People = children, women, men. Every so called pro-lifer who voted for this, these deaths are on you

It started around 2012 leaving me unable to carry things or raise my right arm. It would last for months at a time with short periods of respite from the pain. It went on for over 10 years. I cànt even say for sure I am out the other side yet.
Frozen shoulder is a real condition—and it mostly affects women
The painful affliction known as adhesive capsulitis can last for years—but has long been ignored by medical researchers who doubted its existence. New treatments may finally promise a cure.

This is whats driving the current surge in HIV cases and until we address the drugs issue we wont control HIV. We need to have a natuonal plan for dealing with the huge number of drugs being imported or transiting through Fiji.
