Retired Army. More blue than red. Husband, father, teacher, coach, umpire, School Board Candidate. Living in a rural red place. It gets lonely.
Ten classes daily? That is a crazy schedule. You deserve all of the respect. You are a machine.

School policy mandates one to two homework assignments per week? Depending on year?

Lucky you having curriculum! Lol. My wife has 3 separate classes (Middle and High School) (two of them twice), that she has to build her own curriculum, assignments, and assessments for. Her HS Chemistry is a bear!

Cat says, "This is mine."

My wife doesn't assign homework. Homework is just what the students didn't finish in class (and there is ample time to finish in class). MS/HS

14. Just a few more for BINGO!

SFC with NO deployments? Even for the Reserve that's unusual (to me).

Why do you think you're shadow banned?

I tried Threads early on. I find the vibe here to be better. But that's just me.

Have you tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it? Maybe its installation was corrupted.

Give it the ol' "TOTO" (Turn off. Turn on.) And see if that helps. (For the whole phone, not just the app.)

Sometimes bits and bytes get stuck in weird digital limbos and gum up the works.

I'm all for killing HAMAS equipment and people. I don't think Israel needs to loosen its collateral damage restrictions to do so.
October 18, 2023 at 4:41 PM
Of course targeting is specific, but, if you intentionally use too much bomb for the target you are, essentially, intentionally increasing collateral damage and death.
October 18, 2023 at 4:27 PM
Doesn't "significantly reduced their risk tolerance for collateral damage" just mean, "they have increased their willingness to ALSO destroy nearby buildings and kill civilians near specific targets." ?

Interstellar gets a pass from me. When you have Kip Thorne consulting, it's probably me that's wrong.

I don't even know when I'm noticed. Or not noticed.
October 12, 2023 at 6:08 PM
Exactly. And that's a fine line. I think it will be a new challenge for teachers, but not something that is insurmountable. And in the long run, I think it will actually make for BETTER production coming from students (and future adults).

AI is not a silver bullet for any writing. It's ok..it may even be good. But it's usually not hard to tell it's AI.

As big as it gets!

Education. I have a Masters in something else, but my wife has a Masters in Education and I picked up a lot during her classes, and I sub at the school, and so I sometimes feel I can make coherent arguments, but, when experienced educators start talking, I know when to shoosh.

We had a "Caturday" last Saturday which involves 95% laying around in the sun, napping, and occasional food, drink, and bathroom breaks. I recommend everyone channel their inner feline once a month or so.

The book isn't much better.
October 7, 2023 at 6:21 AM
Well, it's HW dependent. But, generally, I think an average number is probably 150-180.
October 6, 2023 at 10:06 PM
Yup! The newish one. It's worth a look!

What do you think about the latest iteration?
