That hit and it hit hard! Eldegoss Was out! But Milo thought fast. He had a Pokémon that could take advantage of the Sunny Day, saving him from having to use it.

With the Sunny Day out, Cherrim bloomed and had her ability activated: Flower Gift. A HUGE boost to her special defense.+

Now if Exeggutor knew Solar Beam...that was a different story between that speed boost and it not having to recharge.

With no typing bonus and Eldegoss's insane special defense it hung out but it did lower it a little a an additional effect. It was still hanging on strong, though! Maybe passed half-health but hanging on strong.

Naturally. It made sense to use the boost of grass-types moves when he had nothing super effective. But Blue just made a mistake. Reflect worked on physical attacks and only physical. Giga Drain wasn't a physical attack.
