Yeah, like a week ago people were pointing out (correctly) that political parties in the US are so weak as to be nearly nonexistent, in terms of ability to enforce discipline; now it’s “Schumer specifically is weak on account of not being able to enforce discipline.”

Be mad. Support primary challenges. Volunteer. Protest. Get involved. That’s good. Posting on the internet about how Bernie Sanders is complicit in helping Chuck Schumer hand January 6 protections to Ted Cruz on behalf of AIPAC is the opposite of any of that.

In my personal experience there are a lot of federal workers who see it as more or less the fulfillment of their oath to keep politics more or less to the side and keep their head down and do the work. I think that’s a lot bigger portion of them than many credit.

God I don’t even think anybody needs to like Schumer or anything, just use your fucking brains for one goddamn second. This is getting close to saying even though he’s the *minority* leader he’s actually running the senate.

Everybody’s allowed to feel down. People need to have some sense of responsibility and accountability for what they do with those feelings.

Being pissed is fine. It’s good. Saying that Democrats are the ones who took health care subsidies away is a vicious fucking lie that is meant to demotivate people, to republicans’ benefit, and you know it.

Well the fact that Jeffries isn’t calling out Schumer is proof that he’s in on it so whichever house members aren’t calling for Jeffries to be ousted are complicit too. Probably also county councilors and state comptrollers too.

Thad why was so insidious about it IMO! Regular high school dudes have plenty of insecurities, that’s normal. Buffy, though Xander, validated the paranoid/resentful/entitled frame for a lot of them.
