Last week I went to a comic convention and a concert, both of which were full of openly queer, openly trans people who were having the times of their lives. I felt so safe and so happy. There is community outside, I promise. This machine, this algorithm, is designed to make you forget that.

This evening's hot take: Any media reviewer online will tell you "(x) WAS TRASH!!!" vids get way more traffic than "(x) was great!" vids, and since traffic is tied directly to income, the deleterious effects of that simple fact on the media criticism community has been painfully obvious. It sucks.

Just made the people-shaped breads from @lavendertowne.bsky.social ‘s most recent video. I’ve been calling them “goodhunters” bc they have full bellies (stuffed w sweet spiced pork & dried fruit), so they must be… good hunters lmao. Pics + screenshot for reference. Lmk if y’all want a recipe
