From steam discussions it was clear you could unlock the frame rate via config files since it was an UE game and... Guess what... Some game event was tied to the frame rate and would break. If dev would at least be honest that that's the reason, I have more empathy and would not refund.

I played an indie game recently that was locked to 30 fps with heavy motion blur. The dev dared to claim artistic vision, I countered with a refund because why would I wanna play a choppy game...

just make your fucking game and release it, you'll be ahead of 99% of nerds "working on their ideas", "fleshing out their concepts", "porting it to a new engine" and many more. actually get shit out the door and you win, it might be in aspects you don't expect to yet, but you win.

this posts makes me realize that bsky needs a way to un-follow everyone in a starter pack. (not because I dislike yours, this is a separate observation from this specific one, because when I started, I followed some packs blindly which turned out to be full of peeps I didnt vibe with fr fr.)

big asterisk that more power does not always mean bigger number. Its the balance of creeping multiple branches of power that gets me hard.

Sorry I don't have an example that hasnt been shared yet, but I wanna chime in that abilities that have both FEEL good. I'm a fan of power. Let me do more! you balancing the game around the power creep and feeling of "fuck this feels great" won't outscale game balance imho.
