Exploring the basalt fields, lava tubes, and caves was both incredibly rewarding and extremely fun. I love being outside and exploring our world. I highly recommend visiting and checking out this incredible nature preserve!

This photo was taken in Nara, Japan in April 2023. It was my first time out of the country, and I was so excited to visit the shrines within the documentaries I watched growing up.
